beforeSelect

fires before selecting a cell

beforeSelect: (row: object, column: object) => boolean | void;

Parameters:

The callback of the event is called with the following parameters:

• row: object - the config of a row
• column: object - the config of a column

Returns:

Return false to prevent selecting of a cell; otherwise, true.

Example

treegrid.selection.events.on("beforeSelect", (row, column) => {
    console.log("beforeSelect", row, column); 
    return false;
});

It is also possible to use the simplified version of the event:

treegrid.events.on("beforeSelect", (row, column) => {
    console.log("beforeSelect", row, column); 
    return false;
});
