resources#
Resource load and leveling. The types in this folder cover three areas:
- Overallocation -
ResourceOverallocationlists, per resource, the windows where booked load exceeds capacity. It appears inScheduleResult.Overallocationswhen the project has assignments. AfterProject.Level, each remaining window carries a reason. - Load profiles -
Project.LoadProfiletakesLoadProfileOptionsand returns aLoadProfilewith per-bucket load and capacity for each resource. AProfileQuerysets the range, resources, bucket size andProfileTasksdetail. It converts implicitly toLoadProfileOptions, andPreviewOptions.Profiletakes one too. - Leveling -
Project.LeveltakesLevelingOptionsand returns aLevelingResult: the leveledScheduleResultand a round count.Project.EvaluateandProject.SuggestAssignmentsalso acceptLevelingOptionsthrough theirLeveloption.
All of these are sealed classes or enums in the Plen namespace. For how load is booked and how the leveler moves tasks, see Resource load and Leveling resources.
