# onMouseDown

### Description

@short: Fires when the user clicks on a scheduler's element that doesn't have the predefined 'onlick' handler

@signature: onMouseDown: (className: string) =\> void

### Parameters

- `className` - (required) *string* - the name of a css class defined for the clicked element
