# getGridColumn

### Description

@short: Gets the configuration object of a column

@signature: getGridColumn: (name: string | number) =\> GridColumn

### Parameters

- `name` - (required) *string | number* -    the column's name

### Returns
- ` column` - (GridColumn) - the column's object

### Example
