# getChildren

### Description

@short: Returns the 1st-level child tasks of the specified parent branch

@signature: getChildren: (id: string | number) =\> any[]

### Parameters

- `id` - (required) *string | number* -        the parent branch's id

### Returns
- ` ids` - (array) - an array of children's ids

### Example
