# onAjaxError

### Description

@short: Fires if the server returns an error

@signature: onAjaxError: (request: any) =\> boolean;

### Parameters

- `request` - (required) *object* - XML HTTP request object

### Returns
- ` result` - (boolean) - defines whether the default action of the event will be triggered (<b>true</b>) or canceled (<b>false</b>)

### Example
